New Freedom Tower
Wow. The new Freedom Tower actually looks like a building I'd be proud to have in New York. Who woulda thunk that after all of those ugly designs someone would have come up with something worth building? I love the concept of eight triangular planes connecting two offsetting squares at the top and bottom. Apparently the first 200 feet will be built out of some new transparent concrete material. My prediction is that this one will go up fairly quickly, as there's nothing wrong with it that I can see. Although they might want to think about putting a much cooler spire on top.
